TV for me lately has been all about the goodies streaming on Acorn TV. I'm rewatching the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries as well as Midsomer Murders, Agatha Raisin (a real hoot), The Brokenwood Mysteries and Murdoch Mysteries. Murdoch Mysteries has definitely become my comfort watching these days, it's usually very light and fluffy and often humorous, despite being a murder mystery series. Aside from that, I'm enjoying the daylights out of geeking out on all of the history and anthropology programming on The Great Courses streaming channel. In particular, I recommend Ken Albala's Food: A Cultural Culinary History. Ken Albala also has a blog called Ken Albala's Food Rant, which includes some interesting (in every sense of that word) recipes.
