The custom made dark pink lacy dress that I wore when my Mum married my stepfather in 1968. I was seven that summer. It was a fun day. I got to ride in the coach with them and all.

I also still have the huge white silk flower that my mom wore in her hair that day.

Both my parents are dead now, and so are most of the wedding guests, I think. Since my siblings were born after the wedding, it feels like I am the only one now to remember that day. But I'll hold on to the memories and that dress. I am fond of both.
