what's your myth ?

while stuck at home, I'm reading even more fic than usual, a lot of it MCU; which got me thinking about mythology generally. which myths from regional/cultural traditions most appeal to you (or appealed when you were a kid)? I know there are far more than I can come up with just off the top of my head - are you drawn to something other than the best known (to Westerners) Egyptian, Norse, Greek, and Roman? what about them resonates the most with you - the stories, the characters, the lessons?
